Six service lines, delivered under one head contract
DICE Contracting Pty Ltd delivers building and construction, building remediation and refurbishment, project management, facilities maintenance, civil works, and carpentry and joinery for local, state and federal government clients across Australia. Most contracts combine several of these, which removes an interface, a subcontract and a point of failure for the client.
Building & Construction
Capital works, extensions, fitouts and security upgrades for government and community clients. Most of it happens on occupied, operational and secure sites.
- Capital works programmes
- Commercial building works
- Minor & major works
- Extensions & fitouts
- Security fabric upgrades
- Demolition & strip-out
Building Remediation & Refurbishment
Rectification of fire, flood, contamination and compliance failures in occupied public buildings. This is our strongest evidenced capability, and the programme is almost always urgent.

- Contamination & vermin
- Compliance rectification
- Defect & make-good
- Hazardous materials
Project Management
Head contractor delivery, design and construct, and multi-site programme management, including heritage works and staging around live operations.

- Kerb, gutter & footpaths
- Car parks & hardstand
- Fencing & external works
Carpentry & Joinery
Carpentry crews we employ directly. That is how we hold tight programmes on remediation work inside operating facilities.

- Custom & security joinery
- Heritage timber repair
- Doors & hardware
- Remediation carpentry
Choosing the right service line
What services does DICE Contracting provide?
DICE Contracting provides six service lines: building and construction; building remediation and refurbishment; construction project management; facilities maintenance; civil works; and carpentry and joinery. Most contracts combine several of these under a single head contract.
Can DICE Contracting deliver all trades under one contract?
Yes. DICE Contracting acts as head contractor and self-performs carpentry, plumbing, drainage, roof plumbing, gasfitting, painting, plastering, roofing and glazing with directly employed tradespeople, managing specialist trades through vetted subcontractors. That removes an interface and a subcontract for the client.
What is the difference between remediation and refurbishment?
Remediation repairs a building damaged, contaminated or rendered non-compliant by fire, water, pests, hazardous materials or a compliance failure, so that it can be safely re-occupied. Refurbishment upgrades a building that is already sound. DICE Contracting delivers both, often on the same site.
Does DICE Contracting work for local councils as well as state and federal agencies?
Yes. DICE Contracting works for local, state and federal government, for community organisations, and for head contractors such as BGIS and Serco who hold government facilities management contracts.
What size contracts does DICE Contracting tender for?
The typical range is $500,000 to $5 million, with minor works from around $50,000 and ongoing maintenance contracts also delivered. The largest published project is $4.5 million.
