NSW Courthouses Statewide Refurbishment
DICE Contracting delivered $2 million of urgent flooring and painting works across six NSW courthouse locations for BGIS in a six-week programme, completed July 2020.

- Urgent flooring works across six courthouse locations
- Painting works across six courthouse locations
- Project managers deployed from Lismore to Port Macquarie to Broken Hill
- Heritage-appropriate methods and materials where required
The constraint
Six geographically dispersed operating courthouses, several heritage-listed, all to be completed inside six weeks.
Outcome
All six locations were delivered within the six-week programme. The contract established the specialist heritage subcontractor network DICE still uses across the NSW Justice portfolio.
Indigenous participation
Tradespeople were upskilled through WHS courses, and an additional apprentice was employed at DICE’s North Coast location.
